Did you know...? The Romans

"Work of Art" is a dream that started many years ago. My Mother, Peggy, was a phenomenal cook who took great pride is serving delicious and beautiful foods. I remember my classmates always wanting my Mom to make the cupcakes for all of our school parties because hers were the best! And when there was a bakesale at school, Mom's cakes were always the first to be purchased. When I was in my late twenties, Mom and I took a cake decorating class together. We even talked about someday opening our own catering business. Sadly, we were never able to do that. Just a short time after taking that class, she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and passed away in just six short months. I never realized that my Mother had such an unusual gift until I got older. When she entertained, Mom not only had the talent to make delicious food, but also the ability to make people feel special and loved with her artistry and dedication to detail. Her cooking truly was a "work of art." My business is dedicated to the tradition my Mother began many years ago: making people happy with beautiful and delicious foods. My college degrees in visual art and education help me offer customers a more creative and personal service.
